123Boom! Interactive Family Challenge, Melbourne
Looking for a high-energy, interactive experience for tweens and teens in Melbourne? Step into the explosive world of 123Boom! a real-life arcade-style adventure that’s unlike anything your family has tried before.

123Boom!
We took on Melbourne’s most explosive new adventure 123Boom! It is an immersive team challenge blends escape-room intensity with the fun of a physical game show, perfect for families with older kids, birthday parties, or just a unique day out in the city.
Located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, 123Boom! is an action-packed 75-minute adventure where teams must solve puzzles, complete physical tasks, and race against the clock to stop a (paint-filled!) bomb from detonating.

It’s great for older kids, tweens and teens, (our 10 and 12 year olds absolutely loved it) and can be played in group size is 4 to 8 players, making it a great option for families. We tried it as a family of four, and it was great.

What to expect
Throughout the experience, you move from one room to the next to take on a mix of fast-paced, interactive challenges that test your communication, memory, reflexes, and teamwork.
From decoding puzzles and using your whole body to match glowing patterns, to dodging lasers, launching balls at targets, and tackling virtual obstacle courses, every room brings something new.

The grand finale? A high-stakes mission to disarm a colourful “bomb” before it explodes!

123Boom! is a rare find, something genuinely exciting for tweens and teens that also gets the whole family involved.
It’s immersive, active, and promotes communication and teamwork. It’s not suitable for very young kids, but for families with older children, it’s one of Melbourne’s most unique experiences.
