Airplayground Scienceworks| Discover all things to do with Air
Discover all things to do with AIR at the new temporary exhibition AirPlayground at Scienceworks, Melbourne’s favourite Science museum.

Airplayground, Scienceworks
Like water, air flows and moves around us. This fun 600m2 exhibition takes kids through the windy journey of ‘air’ with 10 amazing colourful interactive spaces.
Designed with primary aged students in mind, (though also suitable for the 3-6 year olds), the Air Playground exhibition is a highly social and interactive world where children can explore air and all its complex behaviours.
Learn the basics of aerodynamics by designing your own paper plane and put them to the test in the designated flying zone; make balls float on the large colourful floating domes and get blown away by the huge fans where you may or may not lose your scarf!
Try your hand at sailing, testing different spinning shapes on the Tinker Table and manoeuvring the colourful balls around the Wind Table…which is not as easy as it sounds.
Allow up to 2 hours to experience all the air learning spaces and watch the kids get blown away (literally and figuratively).
Who knew ‘air’ could be so much fun!!
Check out the exhibition before it closes on 31 July.
