Alice in Wonderland Live played in Melbourne this week! It’s great for parents to relive a classic that you may not have seen in years, but even more so to enable the children to see it for the first time – and even better on stage.
Meet the White Rabbit, the eccentric Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat and of course the boisterous Queen of Hearts as the brilliant cast bring over 20 well known characters to life.
Reflecting the original book, there is something for everyone with plentiful word play and pun-based humour for the older audience members, while younger children will love the colourful characters and physical comedy with Tweedle Dee, and Tweedle Dum being Mums Little Explorers favourites.
Directed and Adapted by Penny Farrow. Produced by Ethan Walker. Mum’s Little Explorers attended with kids from 4 – 7 years old to see the classic story hit the stage – and we all loved it.
The show was quick with no interval and a running time of 60 minutes, therefore suitable even for younger kids too. Our kids were so taken with the performance she watched the series on TV once home!
