Ashcomb Maze and Gardens, Shoreham
Ashcombe Maze & Garden in Shoreham is such a gorgeous spot for a family day out. With mazes, walking tracks, a lavender field, playground and garden games, it’s perfect for all ages.

We visited for a few hours on our recent trip down the Peninsula but honestly could have spent the whole day there. It is such a beautiful spot. It’s relaxing, fun, and has plenty of space for kids to run around while adults enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
There are two main mazes to explore, one that is quite narrow and another that is wider to fit a small pram.

Towards the back there is a beautiful lavender garden and little lake which make the walks around the grounds really lovely.
The huge wooden playground area is popular with the little ones too, there are two structures with slides and climbing elements.

Reception will give you a scavenger hunt page and kids can search for cheeky little gnomes hidden throughout the gardens, such a cute idea and so much fun! Collect your prize at the cafe once you are done!
There are lots of beautiful gardens and a huge green space too for garden games. We played bocce, ring toss, and different ball games.

The café looks over the green space, and serves really yummy food. We grabbed some of their fresh pies and then tried their icecream including their signature lavender flavour, everything was delicious.

Ashcombe is ideal for a couple of hours or a relaxed full day. The mix of nature play, gardens, mazes and open space makes it a great stop for families exploring the Mornington Peninsula.
