The Auburn Hotel is one of the most family friendly establishments in the Eastern Suburbs. Set in a beautiful, heritage style building that was established in 1888, The Auburn caters to grown up lovers of fine food and drink and younger palettes alike.

The Auburn was operating as the Geebung Polo Club for almost 28 years but in going back to the original name, The Auburn Hotel has really focused on providing a family friendly place that keeps up the standards of a high-end gastro pub without the exorbitant prices.
The building itself is full of ornate Victorian décor and has a newly renovated 80 seat dining room, lounge facilities, a huge outdoor courtyard and a grand staircase leading up to multiple private function rooms that are perfect for both small and large events.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating especially to the kids. The courtyard is fitted with a permanent sandbox that is a favourite of the younger diners.
There is plenty of room to play and on Sundays in the warmer months there is even a petting zoo to entertain the children.
Auburn Pub Winter Igloos
One of the biggest family favourites on offer at The Auburn in winter are the Igloos.
A very reasonably priced 3 course set menu with a drink included is offered for adults and kids. Vegan and vegetarian menus are available.
The food is absolutely delicious! And the kids love the plush seats with fluffy pillows and snuggly blankets. The igloos are nicely self-contained making everything super relaxing for a family.
The Auburn is a great place to celebrate everything from birthdays to Father’s Day and they really turn it on for Christmas! Christmas trees, snow machines, carollers and delicious roasts. It’s a bit different each year but definitely check their website leading up to the holidays to see what they might have planned for Christmas 2021!
