BBC EARTH EXPERIENCE in Melbourne
Embark on an extraordinary journey across the seven continents and immerse yourself in the wonders of the natural world.
This epic experience held at the Melbourne Convention Centre near South Warf invites you to explore the remarkable diversity of our planet’s unique landscapes on a grand scale.

Featuring exclusive narration by the renowned David Attenborough, the BBC Earth Experience showcases awe-inspiring footage and music from the BBC Studios Natural History Unit television series “Seven Worlds, One Planet.”
All of this comes to life on multiple multi-angle screens, utilising the latest in digital screen technology.

It’s a self-guided tour, allowing you to choose your own path through the experience. As you enter the space, there are plenty of seating areas and bean bags to relax on to take it all in.
We walked around the different spaces to start with then sat and relaxed for most of it.

You can at your own pace and immerse yourself in the beauty of our planet.
The experience lasts for just over an hour and goes through the 7 continents. Although you can stay as long as you like.

Get lost in a forest illuminated by fireflies, encounter a vibrant carpet of starfish, and witness the spectacle of a four-tonne elephant seal battle.
Roam freely around the main gallery, as different storylines unfold depending on your location. At certain moments in the show, you’ll find yourself completely surrounded by the same imagery, immersing you in the experience.
Make sure to check out breakout zones, “Micro Life” and “Water Life.” At the back of the venue in separate rooms.
