Best Sand Free Beach Towels Australia 2025

A good beach towel is a summer must have, whether you are drying off after a swim or laying on the beach. Sand Free beach towels are a game changer and if you haven’t tried them, you are missing out.

Here we have rounded up the best sand free towels in Australia that your family are going to love!

What are Sand Free Towels?

Sand-free towels are a game changer for beach days. They are different and it is all in the material. The best sand free beach towels are made from materials like microfibre with short fibres and no little loops.

This prevent sand from sticking because there is nowhere to stick to. The sand simply slides right off so you don’t have to stress about bringing the sand home with you and getting it all over the car or the floor at home when you unpack.

Why Are Sand Free Beach Towels Different?

Where would we be without our sand free beach towels? Really?

They are a game changer for beach days, especially when you have kids. The sand literally falls off the towel when you shake it out, so no more bringing home half the beach with you.

Sand free beach towels are also super absorbent holding quite a bit of water, some up to two litres. To top it all off, the sand free towels are quick drying too which is great when using them over and over.

How do Sand Free Beach Towels Feel?

Sand free towels are different to your usual towel. The sand free towels thinner and kind of have a shammy type feel so don’t expect a super fluffy towel like your normal bath towels. They are thin, soft, and surprisingly comfortable.

They are also super compact as they fold up quite small, at least half the size of a normal towel which is great for storage.
