Boneo Discovery Park, Fingal Mornington Peninsula
Looking for an adventure-packed day out with the kids? Boneo Discovery Park on the Mornington Peninsula has everything you need for a fun family outing with kids of all ages.

Boneo Discovery Park
Tucked away on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula, Boneo Discovery Park is a unique destination that blends nature with some adventure.
Known for its stunning wetlands and beautifully landscaped gardens, this park offers families a chance to explore and connect with the great outdoors while enjoying a range of exciting activities.
Whether you’re navigating the twists and turns of the hedge maze, bouncing on trampolines, or challenging yourself on the treetop courses, there’s plenty to keep kids entertained.
Mini Golf – A Fun Family Challenge

We started with a round of mini golf as we got there early and we almost had the course to ourselves. The course has 18 holes and offers just the right amount of challenge for both kids and adults.

Whether you’re a mini-golf pro or a complete beginner, it’s a great family fun activity and you can enjoy the fun that come with trying to sink that hole-in-one.
Get Lost in the Hedge Maze

One of the highlights of the park is the hedge maze. We spent lots of time winding our way through the twists and turns trying to navigate to the centre. Getting lost was all part of the fun!
Trampolines

Our kids couldn’t get enough of the trampolines. You can jump around perfecting jumps and tricks and it’s a great spot to let off steam and get active.
Garden Games in Nature

As you walk around the boardwalk through nature, the garden games area is a unique area of the park. Here, you’ll find oversized versions of chess and checkers that are fun for all ages, as well as a whimsical carousel that adds a touch of magic to the experience. The peaceful setting surrounded by greenery makes this area a relaxing spot for the whole family.
Dinosaurs in the Sand

Another fascinating feature of Boneo Discovery Park is the dinosaur sculptures. Set in the sand, these sculptures are both impressive and fun to explore.
Little ones will love spotting and posing with the prehistoric creatures, and it added a cool, unexpected element to our day.
Treetop Adventures

For something more adventurous, the treetop challenges are a must. With ziplining and rock climbing walls, there’s plenty to keep adrenaline-seekers entertained.
The course is designed for kids up to 12 years old and there were plenty of children of all ages. Our kids, 10 and 12 are a little more experienced on the treetops so they found it easy, however the younger ones and the beginners enjoyed the challenge.

You can do the course over and over for an hour and there is also a rockwall to climb too. That was definitely a challenge for our kids (lots of sore muscles the next day!)
A Perfect Spot for Nature Lovers

Boneo Discovery Park isn’t just about high-energy activities; it’s also a beautiful spot to enjoy nature. The landscaped gardens and open spaces make it an ideal place to take a break, soak up the scenery, and enjoy a family picnic.
