Booran Reserve Playground, Glen Huntly
Booran Reserve is the $10.8 million playground in Glen Huntly named one of the best playgrounds in Melbourne. It’s an amazing space and summer favourite for young and old with a huge water play area offering water jets and a surface splash pad surrounded by shaded seating.

Booran Reserve, Glen Huntly
The Booran Reserve was created from the existing 1.6 HA Caulfield Service Reservoir which was constructed in 1883 and once held 38 million litres of water.
The reserve has retained some features such as the perimeter walls, water pipes, bluestone plinths and sluice gate.

Booran Reserve Playground
The Booran Reserve Playground is one of the best in the area.
It has a huge 10 metre climbing frame, massive slide, mini inbuilt trampolines, sand pit, tunnels, zip line, hamster wheel and more.

The five-way swing was a highlight for the kids screaming to be pushed higher so they could try and touch their friends’ toes.

There is also water play for those warm summer days when the kids need to cool off.

This is a great reserve for general gatherings and kids’ parties, featuring barbeque facilities with undercover shade and lots of seating.

The reserve also offers a walking track, tennis wall and basketball ring for those needing more inspiration to get active.

The playground is most suited to kids 5 plus due to the large expansive area and therefore not a playground for parents to sit on the grass while the younger kids play nearby.
