This October, the Bellarine Railway will come alive with whistles, steam, and celebration when Thomas and Friends rolls into Queenscliff for 2026

The tracks are set, the engines are ready! Join Thomas and his railway friends for a day of family friendly adventures, hands-on activities, and photo ops galore.

The Bellarine Railway in Queenscliff is a popular steam train that runs between Queenscliff and Lakers Siding and makes such a great day out for all ages. It is something the whole family can enjoy.

There are regular scenic train routes with special events during the school holidays with one of the most popular being A day out with Thomas There are lots of activities available so make sure to arrive early so you have time to participate.

Kids will get a chance to meet the Fat Controller.

And of course get to meet Thomas himself and climb aboard and have a quick ride on the back of the open carriage. These run every 10 minutes and you can just line up.

Then you can climb aboard your train carriage when it arrives you can enjoy the scenery starting from Queenscliff for a 45 minute journey along Swan Bay.
