When is Easter 2023?
Easter in Melbourne comes a little later this year. The Easter long weekend falls on 7-10th April 2023.

1. Good Friday Appeal and Kids Day Out
One of the biggest Easter activities in Melbourne, the fun filled Kids Day Out is returning to Melbourne for Easter Good Friday. Enjoy a range of activities, including carnival rides, Classic Cars, and the Woolworths Fresh Food Fair. The popular Teddy Bear Hospital will be back and bigger than ever!

2. Easter Activities at Kabloom
The greatest flower show on earth is happening again in the Dandenong Ranges, East of Melbourne!! This year’s Tesselaar KaBloom, Festival of Flowers will be a showcase of colour, beauty and excitement, and is the perfect family day out.
There will be lots of Easter activities including the famous Easter hunt. This year instead of hunting eggs, you will be hunting rabbits!

3. Melbourne Easter Show
The Melbourne Easter Show is a great Easter event in Melbourne for families. It is a fun filled weekend with a range of children’s activities, interactive demonstrations, roving entertainers, carnival rides, Easter Egg Hunts and much, much more!

4. Easter Family Fun at the Queen Victoria Market

5. Easter at Sk8House

6. Hop in for fun for Easter at Luna Park
The annual Great Easter Egg Hunts are back at Luna Park on Easter Saturday and Sunday. Kids will have the chance to meet the Easter Bunny and join the egg hunts for over 30,000 Chocolatier eggs for kids of all ages.
There will be back-to-back easter egg hunts across the two days overseen by the mad-as-mad Mad Hatter and the energetic Easter bunny acrobats bouncing and balancing their way around the park. It’s high energy entertainment and a great day out for the whole family

7. Wild and Wellbeing Easter Fun
The first ever Easter festival will be at Wild and Wellbeing this year complete with lots of fun kids Easter activities, live entertainment and food. Kids will love the Easter Egg hunt where they can search high and low throughout Wilby’s secret den to find his eggs. Once the eggs have been found our friendly staff will exchange them with yummy chocolate eggs to enjoy.

8. Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Warratina Lavender Farm
Join the Easter Bunny at this annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Warratina Lavender Farm. Each child will be handed a map of the farm on arrival and then set off to go hunting. There are four egg tokens to search for throughout the farm and once all are found, each child will receive a bunch of chocolate eggs, of all sizes to enjoy.
The Tea House be serving their famous lavender scones and ice-cream, as well as delicious sweet and savoury dishes throughout the day.
