Eynesbury’s Winter Festival
The Eynesbury Winter Festival is on again for 2022 and makes a fantastic family day trip from Melbourne. Put on a warm hat, jacket, grab some skates and discover the world of ice skating on the pop-up skate rink.

Eynesbury’s Winter Festival
Embrace the magical winter atmosphere of the Eynesbury Winter Festival this year, just 40minutes from Melbourne.
White Christmas Trees with intermittent falling soap suds impersonating snow, Igloos, fire pits and a giant snow person.
Get rugged up and embrace the atmosphere, grab some skates, and enjoy the festivities.
Pop Up Ice Skating Rink

Entry to the festival is free with a charge for the Outdoor Staking rink.
The rink caters for all skill levels with patron numbers capped to avoid overcrowding each 45 minute session.
Never skated before? Hire a Kanga Skating Aid for support. Young kids will delight in both skating and being pushed around the rink sitting on Kanga Skating Aids and for the brave amongst us, go it alone and have some ice skating fun.

The Kanga Skating Aids do book out so ensure you book online prior to your session time if needed. If you are new to ice skating, there is a handrail around the rink for support and staff available to assist if the Kanga isn’t for you.
Socks are a must for skaters, and it is recommended you bring a spare pair, which is slightly thicker than usual to ensure skates are comfortable.
Other Activities
Ice Skating not your thing? Relax on one of the many outside park benches, watch the footy on the big screen whilst sampling from a diverse selection of food options from the onsite food vendors by one of the fire pits, or grab a coffee or sausage roll from Birdy and Co the onsite café.
Other popular children’s activities are on offer from 12 noon such as face painting and a balloon artist.

These are popular attractions with the kids so get in early to avoid large queues.

The kids will squeal with delight at the presence of their favourite characters allowing a chat and photos with favourites such as Minnie and Micky Mouse, Peppa Pig and Dora The Explorer.

Worked up an appetite after ice skating? Take a walk on more stable ground and head into Ms Peacocks restaurant and bar which offers delicious food with a comprehensive menu set within the historic homestead.
Warm up and relax by the fireplace with a glass of wine while the kids are entertained colouring which was provided. Head Chef Gagan was awarded Australia’s top entrant in Italy’s 2022 Pizza Championship and it was evident when our children sampled pizza and agreed it was delicious, so, yes, they had more.
Be sure to book a table prior to arrival to avoid disappointment as Ms Peacocks books out.
No outside food is permitted to the Winter Festival, however, there are plenty of options between Ms Peacocks Restaurant and Bar, Birdy and Co café and the food trucks.
There is also plenty of free parking available close to the entrance.
