General Public Review, Bowling, Arcade & Family Fun
As a family, we are always looking out for entertaining experiences we can all enjoy together. General Public has various venues around Melbourne with a range of family activities from bowling and arcade games to darts, golf and there is a restaurant on site to have a meal too.

General Public
We love a bit of family competition, so bowling is a favourite of ours. Team it up with some arcade games and pizza and we’ve got ourselves the perfect family afternoon, especially in the colder weather! We visited General Public in Frankston recently, so much to do and not enough time!
Bowling

General Public boasts state-of-the-art bowling lanes with vibrant lighting and music playing which adds to the atmosphere. Bumpers are available and there is also a roller if you have little ones too making it enjoyable for all ages. Our kids still sometimes use the bumpers “just in case” but they are getting better at not using them.
Arcade

The arcade at General Public is packed with a variety of games that cater to all ages and interests. From classic grab machines and racing games to modern interactive experiences, there is something for everyone.
You just purchase a prepaid card and off you go. Our kids love to raced each other in car simulators, and tested their skills on the claw machines (although didn’t win anything). The ticket redemption system is always a big hit, where you can exchange for fun prizes.
Darts and Golf

Although we didn’t get a chance to try them out, General Public also features a dedicated darts and golf simulation area. This addition provides even more entertainment options for families and groups looking to extend their fun.
Food & Drinks
A visit to General Public will work up an appetite! There are two levels, with a bar for drinks on each. Downstairs there are booths in a restaurant setting and upstairs there are casual tables.
There is a diverse menu of your usual bar / pub food, salads and pizzas. We ate upstairs in the games area and the kids played table tennis while waiting for the food. Everything was great and the prices are quite reasonable too.

Family Friendly Day Out
General Public is designed to cater to families, with plenty of space and seating options that accommodate groups of all sizes.
A highlight for the kids was the massive slide you can use to get down to the bottom level. So cool! Why take the stairs when you can use the slide right? They must have gone up and down about 10 times over during our visit.
