Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience, Melbourne, Review
A brand new Harry Potter experience has opened up in Melbourne and it is out of this world! Fans of Harry Potter are going to love it and even if you aren’t a fan, it’s still pretty awesome! Here’s our Harry Potter Forbidden Forest Review below.

Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience
Located at the Briars Community Forest in Mount Martha, the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest Experience is like nothing you would have ever seen before.
Inspired by the iconic Forbidden Forest and features creatures from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series, mesmerising lights transform the landscape into a magical outdoor trail and you are immersed from the moment you enter.
As you follow the forest light trail, you embark on a brand-new journey through the depths of the Hogwarts Forbidden Forest, a place where you’ll encounter beloved characters and mystical beings up close.
Don’t worry, the experience is based against the existing trail in the Briars community forest, so you aren’t wondering in the middle of nowhere. The path is wheelchair accessible and if you have little ones who can’t walk, you can easily bring a pram.

It is great night out for the whole family a great experience for fans of all ages. You get to experience the magic of the Wizarding World in a whole new way.
Wander a night time woodland trail glowing with the presence of magical creatures, with the iconic music scores from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series. Each step brings an iconic scene to life, surrounded by the immersive sounds and sights.
You can engage in an a range of spellbinding and enchanting magical experiences along the way. My boys loved all of the spell activities!

It is a deeply immersive experience that transports you straight into the heart of the wizarding world. As you wonder through the thick foliage, interactive exhibits remind you of your favourite moments from the Harry Potter saga right before your eyes.
We stumbled upon a giant, Hagrid, along with his faithful boarhound, Fang, and a few other magical creatures. We even got to engage in the art of spell craft, and summon our very own Patronus.
Having 2 super Harry Potter fans with me who have read all of the books and watched all of the movies, I learned so much along the way.

If you are feeling peckish, don’t worry, there is some great food awaiting at the end of the trail! There is a themed village where you can enjoy delicious food and drink. There is ample outdoor seating where you can sip on Butterbeer, toast marshmallows and indulge in wizarding themed food and drink options.
The food and beverages aren’t cheap but on par with any other similar event. There are flavoured hot chocolates with whipped cream for $12, and the Butterbeer $15. Beer and wine are from $10-13. Savoury and sweet snacks and meals available too. All from around $10 upwards. You can also bring your own food if you don’t want to purchase.
The gift shop is filled with merchandise from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies. It is is like a treasure trove at the end of a magical journey, full of memorabilia that keeps the memory of the adventure alive.

This experience is a premium one, but for Harry Potter fans it is absolutely worth every penny. It breathes new life into the Harry Potter universe, offering countless perfect photo moments. Fans young and old will find it enchanting, making for an unforgettable evening for both families and friends. Our family absolutely loved it! (Our kids are die hard Harry Potter fans!)
