Hawthorn Arts Centre, Arts Programs for all ages
The Hawthorn Arts Centre is a wonderful place to visit with the kids anytime. Art takes on new and unusual meanings when seen through the eyes of a child. From jazz performances to art instructions there is something here for the whole family.

Hawthorn Arts Centre
The Town Hall Gallery inside the Hawthorn Arts Centre hosts a variety of exhibitions throughout the year. The gallery is beautifully laid out and is a wonderful place to expose your little ones to art.
Set right on Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn there is also a bevy of choices as far as restaurants go. From churros to burgers, waffles to ribs take your pick of any of the tastes of Glenferrie Road within a few minute walk from the Hawthorn Arts Centre. It’s an ideal place for an Arts and Eats date with your kids.
If you are looking for a party venue they also hire out event space. The Basement is perfect for a Disco Birthday party.
For the older kids age 10+ there is a Youth Hub.
Young people are welcome to use the computers and wi-fi, catch up on homework or hang out and get support. During the school holidays there will be cupcake decorating and a Mario Kart tournament at the Youth Hub
