Highett Reserve Playground, Highett
The Highett Reserve Playground has recently been upgraded with some exciting features including a cool wooden castle. It is one of the best playground Melbourne’s South East.

Highett Reserve Playground
Highett Reserve Playground is in Melbourne’s southeast adjacent to Waves leisure center.
The playground has a wooden fort with slides, chain ladder and for little ones who love to climb there is also a rock-climbing wall.

The see saw/swing is pretty cool, it goes up and down and spins 360 around and is very popular for all ages.

Under the big leafy tree which surrounds the playground is a regular swing set but also a nest swing and some wooden carvings of toadstools, snake and green frog.

A basketball half court has been recently resurfaced for the older kids to practice their shooting so bring a ball for your kids if they want to play around.

This reserve has plenty of space, as there are 3 ovals next to the playground to kick the football or bring the dog as there is a dedicated off leash oval.

There is an undercover BBQ area is right next to the playground so perfect for hosting a party or even just organising a family catch up or play date. There are also lots of places to pop your picnic mat too if you want to just bring some snacks and relax.
