Jean Street Reserve Playground, Cheltenham
New and improved, the Jean Street Reserve Playground in Cheltenham is a fantastic play space for kids of all ages in Melbourne’s South East.

Jean Street Reserve Playground, Cheltenham
Jean Street Playground is located next to Southland train station beside the shopping centre car park in Melbourne’s southeast. This recently upgraded playground is a hidden gem which is fenced off from the car park.
The main play equipment by the station has a little rock-climbing wall, fireman pole and two slides.

This all leads to an in-ground merry-go-round, swing sets, a ball maze board and a corner store front for imaginative play.

This playground is deceptively big as it runs along a path to a grassed area where you could lay down a picnic rug and have lunch.
Native trees border one side with balance beams and stumps to jump along on the other.

Along the shopping centre there is an impressive mural which has a larger rock-climbing area, monkey bars, climbing nets and parkour boards which will be of interest to older children.

Playground features:
- Rock climbing walls (small and big one)
- Slides
- Fireman pole
