Junction Skate & BMX Park, Hawthorn
Right off Riversdale Road just before Camberwell junction, next to the Hawthorn Community Garden you will find the Junction Skate & BMX Park.
Managed by the YMCA for Boroondara Council, this great, neighbourhood skate park has standard spine bowls and street courses.

Kids will find qualified supervisors on hand to help guide them from the very basics all the way up to shredder status.
Skate Club, group and private lessons are all offered here by the staff. Or just bring your favourite bike or board and have a play for free. The whole park can even be rented out for birthday parties.

There are repair stations available, safety gear and even first aid kits on hand if needed.
There is a cafe and toilets on site. There is also a large viewing platform with benches for parents to watch.
If there are younger siblings that need to be entertained while older siblings ride then you are steps away from the Symonds Street Playground.
If you have a furry friend with you there is an off lead dog park directly behind Junction Skate and BMX Park that is also fully equipped with BBQs and toilets for a picnic after the kids are done skating.
