Le Petit Chef & Friends – 3D Dining Adventure Has Arrived in Melbourne!
If you’re looking for a fun and unique family experience that combines food, fun, and a little bit of magic, get ready to meet the world’s tiniest chef in Melbourne’s most talked-about dining experience, Le Petit Chef & Friends.

Let Petit Chef & Friends
Le Petit Chef & Friends, the internationally acclaimed 3D dining show, has arrived in Victoria for the first time ever and it’s exclusive to Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park in Scoresby. I have seen previews of this overseas so we were excited when we were invited to check it out! It’s like nothing we have ever experienced and the kids were in absolute awe the whole night!
This isn’t your average dinner outing. Using mind-blowing 3D projection mapping, the dinner table becomes a live stage where Le Petit Chef, standing just 6cm tall, whips up an unforgettable culinary adventure, joined by animated rival chefs from Spain, Italy, and Japan.

As the story plays out right on your plate, each course is served in real life so it matches to the scene.
There are also real life theatrics as well with the exceptional staff and their commentary throughout the dinner. Expect a whimsical four-course journey through Europe and Asia, with every bite bringing the animated competition to life.

We absolutely loved the experience, and the kids thought it was the coolest thing ever! To top it off, the team even organised a special birthday surprise for our birthday boy.
It was a sweet animated story played out on the table, showing the creation of a birthday cake, which was then matched with a real one brought out for us to sing happy birthday.

Here’s a sneak peek of what’s on the menu:
- Spain: Marinated tomato, Jamón, Manchego, and pine nuts
- Italy: Handmade mushroom ravioli with truffle cream and parmesan
- France: Grilled entrecôte steak with pommes frites and Béarnaise
- Japan: A stunning dessert of white chocolate crémeux and plum wine

Vegetarian, classic, and premium menus are available, with a special children’s menu priced at $85. Adults can choose between $155 or $185 options, with optional wine pairings for $45 per person.
No, it’s not a cheap night out, but it is on par with other hotel dining experiences, and this is not just a dinner it’s a whole experience.
It’s part dinner, part theatre, and it’s a great night out for older kids and adults. It’s a fantastic option for a special occasion, family night out, or even a staycation with Hyatt Place who offer exclusive overnight packages.
