Lehmann’s Farm Park, Dairy Themed Playground, Epping
Located in the outer North (Epping), Lehmann’s Farm Park is an unassuming quirky historical dairy themed playground which features many distinctive elements which honour the history of the land.
Lehmann’s Farm Park, Epping
Lehmann’s Park is set on an old dairy farm site circa 1920’s, with bluestone farmhouse remnants featured on the grounds, along with large fruit trees and plaques strewn around, which offer facts about the farm and its owners.
The dairy-themed playground which is suited to the younger kids, pays homage to its history by featuring lots of dairy themed park activities such as a large Jarlsberg cheese climbing sculpture, a butter block, milk agitator spinner, milk urns, a quirky milk barrel slide, a large windmill, and much more.
All the elements of the playground are situated amongst a bushy maze, with wooden walkways, ramps, stepping stones and a climbing structure.
The park is surrounded by Edgar’s Creek Reserve and a 3.5 km walking track, bike track and two exercise stations.
There are also two covered picnic table areas with seating and two BBQ’s onsite, which makes it a perfect location for picnics and kids parties.
