We may have found the most kid friendly café in Melbourne. Well, not in Melbourne, but only about half an hour out!
Little Teapot Café and Play has everything you need for parents and kids. This non-profit business has become more than just a café but a community for parents with young children to meet up and play.
There are plenty of tables inside and outside. In the warmer weather the kids will love the two outdoor play areas. These are great and have undercover areas in case of wind or rain.
There is a mini race track, a cubby, chalk board, a wooden boat, lots of little toys for young kids and more.
There is also an indoor playspace as well which is great for toddlers as it has a child gate. There are lots of toys for little ones, pluzzles, blocks, play shop and kitchen etc and some pencils for drawing.
You can sit back and enjoy a coffee and snack while the kids play independently in a safe playing environment.
They do great coffees and there some cakes and other treats to snack on. If you want to stay for lunch the meals are simple and great value. There are plenty of kids snacks and meals too, and they cater to a variety of dietary requirements.
Our fav is the baby cino and cupcake deal for the kids and you can’t go past the scones with jam and cream!
The best thing is that all profits go to helping the local community, such a great initiative.
Highly recommended, you will want to go back over and over again!
