Live Wire Park Tree Top Adventures, Lorne
One of the best tree top adventures in Victoria is Live Wire Park in Lorne, along the Great Ocean Road. It is a tree top climbing and zip lining experience in one that is set to get your heart racing.
It makes a great day trip for thrill seekers of any age from young kids to adults. It’s a great family activity to do together too.

Live Wire Park is completely off the grid, and is powered by nature. In fact is has been designed to have minimal impact on the environment. It is the only adventure park of it’s kind in Australia.
There are various activities and courses you can do depending on height and age so there is something for everyone in the family. You can spend a few hours or even the whole day, so much to do.
Canopy Walk

Anyone can do the canopy walk. The suspended pathway is 120 metres long and 10 metres elevated above the ground.
The walk is the perfect way to soak up the views of the lush rainforest and is wheelchair and pram accessible.
You can walk around as much as you want as it is included in the entrance ticket along with the spring circuit.
Spring Circuit

Everyone loves a good jump on a trampoline, but the Spring Circuit is another level. There are five zones of trampoline netting in the Spring Circuit where you can jump around. And there are giant blow up balls which make it even more fun.
It is a great space to burn off energy for the younger kids, and also for the parents.
Tree Top Climb Short Circuit
The short circuit treetop adventure is suitable for children and beginners. The circuit goes for about an hour and the height requirement is 110cm.
There are 26 activities at mid intensity including obstacle courses, treetop trails.
There are always supervisors to give a hand if the kids get stuck, but it is a fairly simple course that the kids will love.
Tree Top Climb Super Circuit

The super circuit is a bit more challenging, suitable for older kids and adults. There are 53 activities, and it takes around 2 hours to complete.
Both of the circuits start with a safety briefing and demonstration on how to connect and disconnect your cable. Then you are off on your own!

You get a break though as there are different circuits to complete, so you can stop to rest after each one before starting on the next.

The height requirement for that one is 135cm and you can see why when you get up there.
Our kids 8 and 10 at the time absolutely loved it! Our 8 year old was right on the 135cm and sometimes needed a hand reaching for the cables to attach but otherwise they both did great.

The obstacles are more challenging than the short circuit. There is a lot of balancing involved and some climbing too. Lots of mid air trails and suspended bridges, some which require a bit of problem solving.

There is also a fun zipline at the end of each circuit.

It is definitely a challenge, even for some adults, you don’t want to be afraid of heights! We all had sore arms the next day too, it’s a great work out.
Rock Climbing Wall

There is a huge rockclimbing wall in the middle of both circuits that you can try. It is challenging but great fun. Once you get up the top you zip into a net to get down.
Shockwave Zip Coaster

The shockwave zip coaster for those who really want to get the heart pumping. It is like nothing we had done before. Like a roller coaster, but hanging in a harness, so much fun zipping around the forest.
