McClelland Gallery and Sculpture Park, Langwarrin
Rain or shine the McClelland Gallery and Sculpture Park makes a great outing for some art appreciation.
The McClelland Café is a perfect spot to have a pie or pastie before your walk around the grounds. Or for an after exercise treat pop into the café for a milkshake or choctop made on the Mornington Peninsula. You can enjoy your chosen treats indoors or on the patio. If a large group is going, it’s advisable to book a table.
The walk through the eight hectares of bushland is an amazing place to spark a young (or young at heart) imagination. Asking what your children see in many of the abstract pieces can yield some pretty fantastic answers. It’s also one of very few places you can really immerse yourself in the artwork.

The path is out in nature with some gravel and steep incline spots so wear your closed toe shoes and watch out for snakes in the warmer months. A walk with a pram is definitely doable but if you prefer a 5 seater buggy ride, guided tour option is available Wednesday and Thursday 11am and 12 pm. Bookings for the tours are essential.
Join the McClelland team for one of their workshops during school holidays. Gather natural materials from around the bushlands and learn to make a mobile sculpture or bushcraft. Workshops are included in your booking.
Toilets are located inside near the gift shop.
