Due to popular demand, the magic returns this Christmas with everyone’s favourite Christmas event, Melbourne’s Christmas Wonderland. This much-anticipated event is set to captivate the hearts of visitors once again, offering an enchanting experience like no other, under the Big Top and at a new location, Caulfield Racecourse!
We go to this every year and it is always a hit with so much festive fun. There are thousands of magical lights, a wonderland of snow leading straight to Candy Cane Lane and an adventure of festive proportions never seen before!

What to Expect at Melbourne’s Christmas Wonderland
Every jingle, every bell, every HO HO HO will create the most wonderful memory, and remind visitors of why the magic of Christmas is still the most prolific of all.
A Magical Experience: Immerse yourself in everything Christmas under The Grand Big Top. The event is filled with beautiful decorations, lights, trees and so much more.
Christmas Live Show: Each session includes a 45 minute live show with Mrs. Claus and her trusty elves. Where Christmas meets circus.
The North Pole Post Office will be open for special letter posting, with express delivery guaranteed direct to Santa; and Mrs Claus will be on hand to help little authors.
Christmas Craft Village: Unleash your creativity at our Christmas Craft Village where you can decorate your own
reindeer antlers and Christmas ornament.
Mrs Claus’ Bakery: Decorate your very own delicious sweet treat and then enjoy your creation as you gobble it down at Mrs Claus’ Bakery.
When she takes a break from baking, Mrs Claus will host sessions at Storytelling Corner to tell some delightful tales to the littlies.
Elf’s Workshop: The cheeky Elves are busy preparing for Christmas to arrive, but not too busy to spend some
time with you creating some special take home craft.
Charlie Brown’s Christmas Forest: Step into a festive Snoopy walkthrough, explore and create your very own Christmas stocking to take home!
Snoopy’s Vesper Track: Jump on a Snoopy-themed vesper and make your way around the track with Peanuts character moments and cheerful Christmas elements.
Rudolf’s Barnyard is where you can meet the most famous reindeer of them all – Rudolf the Red Nosed!! and his fellow world-fliers, Dasher and Dancer, Keep an eye out as they all just may appear on stage!
The interactive walk-through adventure features everything that’s most loved about Christmas, including multiple themed Christmas zones and live entertainment for all ages.
There are different carnival games around the venue, and every child is given a brown bag with a Santa hat to keep!
Jumping Castles: Get ready to jump into the Christmas spirit on our three Christmas- and candy-themed jumping castles!
Junior Rides: Spin your way through the Teacup Ride, ride the horses on a small Carousel and travel around on the Mini Train!
Of course there is the opportunity to get a Santa photo with the big man himself and various other characters walking around.
So if you see a strange light in the skies above Melbourne, it’s just Santa and Mrs Claus bringing their magic for Melbourne’s Christmas Wonderland!!
