Museum Sleepovers

One of Melbourne’s most exciting family experiences, Museum Sleepovers give kids the chance to spend a night inside the museum after dark.
We did the Older Kids Museum Sleepover last term with our kids and it was such unique experience for families.
The night includes after-hours access to the exhibitions, activities, games and an IMAX movie with snacks. The kids loved wandering through the museum at night and then rolling out their mattresses to sleep amongst the exhibitions.
Breakfast is included the next morning too and you have access to the museum all day.
Mosaic Monument
Mosaic Monument is a fantastic FREE activity for families visiting Melbourne Museum these holidays.
Kids can contribute to a large collaborative artwork while learning about creativity, storytelling and community through mosaics.
Road to Zero
Road to Zero is another fantastic FREE family activity and does not require a museum ticket.
This interactive learning space helps kids understand road safety through engaging hands-on experiences and activities, making it a great budget-friendly addition to your day.
