If you would like to give your kids a good look at real farm life then Myuna Farm in Melbourne’s South East makes a fantastic family day out. Kids will be able to feed the baby animals, ride a pony and even take a tractor ride, all while learning about life on a farm.

Myuna Farm is an interactive animal farm in Melbourne’s East where families can get hands on experience learning about farm life.
You can get up close to see and learn about a variety of animals and pat and cuddle the little rabbits and guinea pigs. You can feed a range of animals such as the sheep and ducks, and even ride a pony. During the Spring, you may get lucky to see some new baby animals.
As well as your usual farm animals, you can also see a range of other animals too including camels, kangaroo’s, alpacas and even some reptiles! There is a great variety.
Once the kids have finished with the animals, there is a fun playground and farm maze near the café, so parents can sit back and have a coffee while you let the kids run around and burn off their energy.

- Free picnic tables and BBQ’s available if you want to take lunch
- Onsite café selling sandwiches, some hot food, snacks, and hot/cold drinks
- Train rides from 11am-3pm, $2 per ride
- Wear gumboots, it can get quite muddy and messy
