Pullman Albert Park Review
Planning a family staycation in Melbourne or searching for family hotel accommodation with easy access to Albert Park and St Kilda?
Pullman Hotel Albert Park is hotel tailored for families seeking both relaxation and city adventure.

Location alongside the picturesque Albert Park, on the outskirts of the city, this gem of a hotel offers a rejuvenating staycation or a family adventure to explore Melbourne’s attractions.
We recently had the opportunity to stay at Pullman Albert park on a recent family staycation with our 2 kids aged 9 and 11.
Pullman Albert Park Location

Right in the middle of Albert Park across from the lake, Pullman Albert Park Hotel offers a serene escape with stunning views of the lake.
The park features walking and jogging trails, perfect for a leisurely stroll or even a run.
Additionally, there are cycling paths and picnic areas, making it an ideal spot for families to unwind and enjoy outdoor activities.

We walked around the lake after dinner, the loop is just under 5kms and it took us around an hour and a half including a couple of stops.
Pullman Albert Park Rooms
The hotel has 14 different types of rooms: 169 Pullman guest rooms, which are more upscale, and 209 Mercure guest rooms, offering a more affordable stay.
We stayed on the 7th floor in a family room. It was one room, not interconnecting but there was plenty of space for all of us with a queen bed, 2 single beds, arm chair, four seater table, a desk, and coffee buffet.

The bathroom had a double shower, and bath and there was also a walk through wardrobe.
Pullman Albert Park Facilities
The hotel’s facilities cater to both adults and kids.
The pool area is a hit with families, in fact we spent quite a bit of time at the pool. Well the kids in the pool and us in the hot tub.

There is also a well-equipped fitness centre next to the pool which allows adults to stay on top of their fitness routines while on vacation.
Pullman Albert Park Dining
There is a hotel restaurant and bar, where you can indulge in a delightful culinary experience.
Mortimers Restaurant
Mortimer’s is a restaurant and bar located within the hotel’s striking atrium where you can find an extensive range of wines and cocktails along with their specialised gin menu. We started off with a couple of delicious cocktails in the lounge area before dinner.

There is a a food menu featuring both light bites you can order all day, and a great dinner menu too, so whether you are looking for a quick drink and snack, or an evening meal, it is a great option.
Dinner options are diverse and cater to all tastes, ensuring even the pickiest eaters find something to relish. We ordered a range of dishes between us. From steak, to barrumundi, chicken parma on Turkish bread and dumplings for my youngest!

In Room Dining
If you don’t feel like heading out, the room dining experience offers a range of classic comforts and a la carte options whether you feel like breakfast in bed, a snack or dinner. The talented and creative chefs at the hotel will create a restaurant style experience without having to leave the room.
Windows Restaurant

Windows Restaurant is open for buffet breakfast every morning and features floor-to-ceiling windows offering an abundance of natural light and views of Albert Park.
There is a huge range of different foods from fresh pastries to a variety of fruits and eggs cooked to your liking, continental breakfast foods, and a health food bar with fresh juices, smoothies, yoghurts and muesli.
All types of coffees available or you can order a barista coffee from the bar. The spread provides a hearty start to your day and we left with our bellies very full!
Nearby Attractions & Activities

Albert Park itself is a gem for family outings, offering scenic strolls and opportunities for picnics. Adjacent to the hotel is the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, with some great kids’ activities.
The hotel is conveniently located across the road from Albert Park which as mentioned has a running and walking track that surrounds the gorgeous lake.
