Pullman On The Park Melbourne Review
From when you first walk in first impressions of Pullman on the Park are of elegance and sophistication. The hotel has a stylish lobby that welcomes you with its contemporary design and sleek furnishings.

Pullman On The Park – Rooms

We stayed as a family of four on the 17th floor in 2 Superior Rooms with a joining door.
Both rooms had views of the city with the MCG directly across which offered spectacular views after dark with all of the bright shining lights. The kids sat at the window just watching the lights for a long time!

The convenience of two rooms is fantastic for families as the parents and kids both get their own space. There is the option to have one king bed or two singles in each room and the doors can be opened and closed at your own convenience.
The robes are a luxurious addition too, they were great to relax in after getting changed in the evening. The kids acted like little kings lazing around.

Our rooms were equipped with modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, minibar and a desk, making it a comfortable and convenient stay.
The innovative smart lights in the rooms were fantastic, you can turn all lights off at once at one switch.
The bathrooms at Pullman on the Park are designed with both style and functionality in mind. They offer a contemporary and sleek aesthetic with modern fixtures.
Our bathrooms had a full sized shower, spacious countertops and ample storage space. Some rooms have a bathtub, there wasn’t one in ours but we didn’t need it.

Fresh towels, complimentary toiletries, and other essentials are provided, with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Behind the mirror looking onto the room was frosted glass which could be turned on and off depending on your preferences.
Pullman On The Park Facilities
Pullman on the Park Hotel offers a range of top-notch facilities to enhance your stay. The hotel features a fully equipped fitness centre for those who want to keep fit.

There is also a sauna, and an outdoor heated outdoor swimming pool.

Although heated, it wasn’t warm enough to swim in during our stay middle of winter. I can imagine in summer time it would be an added benefit.
Pullman On The Park Dining Options
The Cliveden Bar and Dining serves up lunch, high tea, and dinner options.
The Cliveden Bar and Dining
The Cliveden Bar and Dining is exceptional and showcasing the best of fresh seasonal produce.

With a menu crafted by talented chefs, guests can indulge in an array of delectable dishes ranging from modern Australian cuisine to international flavours. The restaurant’s sophisticated ambiance and attentive service make it an ideal venue for a memorable dinner, breakfast or high tea.
We were booked in for the high tea experience in the late afternoon in the park Lounge. All seating has beautiful views looking across to the lush green Fitzroy Gardens.

High tea includes a savour an assortment of warm savouries, delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam, and a selection of sweet treats. All of this accompanied by a choice of teas, coffee or a glass of bubbles.
The high tea doesn’t have a children’s option, so all members are served the same selection, however the children are charged at half the price.
The menu was great for adults, and it was more than enough food. Our kids were a little bit more fussy however so it would be great to have some further child friendly options available. They did devour the scones and hot chocolate though.
The Cliveden Buffet Breakfast

The hotel offers a buffet-style breakfast in the Cliveden Dining area in themed food stations featuring an extensive spread of freshly baked pastries, seasonal fruits, cereals, yogurt, and hot dishes cooked in front of you.
Whether you prefer a hearty cooked breakfast such as bacon and eggs or a lighter selection, the breakfast options cater to all tastes and dietary requirements, ensuring you have the fuel you need to explore Melbourne.
There is unlimited access to a selection of breads, baked good and pastries (delivered daily), condiments, cereals, eggs, hot dishes, dairy and deli products, fruit and vegetables. It was great to see a range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as well.
