Smack dab in the middle of Alexandra Gardens, just steps from the CBD, you will find Australia’s only full time managed skate park, Riverslide Skate Park.

Little skaters will love the Riverslide Skate Park in Melbourne. Staffed and managed by the YMCA, you won’t find a safer or cooler place to drop in.
Private and group classes are offered for ages 5-18+, beginner to advanced, including some girls only groups.
Or you can join Skate Club which is more of a mentoring group, a supportive learning time but with a social focus.
If you prefer to chill out and watch the action there’s a café that’s great for a coffee or light lunch with awesome views of the Yarra.
Next to the café is the Riverslide Skate shop with everything you need from skateboards to safety equipment. You can even hire the park for your next event.
There is ample street parking on Boathouse Drive or take public transport to Flinders Street Station and walk over. Toilets are also on site.
Riverslide Park is staffed and open year round and lit up with flood lights at night.
