Sir Zelman Cowen Park playground – Kooyong
If you are looking for an enclosed playground full of fun including water play in the south east of Melbourne, check out Sir Zelman Cowen Park Playground which has jam packed fun for all ages.

Sir Zelman Cowen Park Playground
Sir Zelman Cowen Park playground in Kooyong is a fully fenced playground nestled in the corner of the park off Glenferrie Road.
The main feature is a metal tower that makes you feel like you’re in a bird’s nest. Its design encourages children to climb up, clamber around and exit via the pole at the top.

Our kids spent most of the time enjoying the swings while looking at the cockatoos in the native trees. There is also a slide and various other classic playground features too.

The biggest hit was the water play area which had a pump with little panels to make a dam. Perfect for warmer days so make sure you bring a spare set of clothes if your kids like to get wet.
