For those of you familiar with the ever popular food truck “Sliders on Tyres” the Slider Diner is their permanent location serving up a menu of delicious sliders, sides, and deserts.
Think of The Slider Diner like your typical American diner from the 50’s with the little details, such as their vintage telephone index on each table, and the wall art in the outdoor seating area. Our waitress, a US native, even had the American accent.
Slider Diner Restaurant Area
A great kid friendly restaurant In Melbourne with pram access. There are 3 main areas to sit. Choose from the front section seating with a view of the main street, the more casual stool seating in the middle, or head out to the beer garden where you can find outdoor seating area looking onto a more quite backstreet.
What’s on the Menu
The menu consists of a range of different burgers, sliders, and sides. Fillings consist of lamb, beef, chicken, calamari, salads and more. There are also options for vegetarian and vegan.
Adults can choose from full sized burgers or a selection of sliders. No need for a kid’s menu as the sliders are the perfect size.
There are chicken wings, salads, hot chips, and their famous popcorn chicken which was a hit with the kids.
A range of deserts is also available, but the clear favourite are their thick shakes topped with cream and a cherry on top!
Price Range
The prices are quite reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served up. With burgers at $14 and Sliders at $7 you can’t go wrong.
