Southbank Boulevard Play Space, Risky Play Park Melbourne
The boulder park is a risky play park and playground in Southbank. If you have an adventurous little one, or a child up for a challenge, this is the play space for them!

Southbank Boulevard Play Space, Melbourne
Do you sometimes feel like most playgrounds are the same? Like your kids aren’t challenged and remain full of energy, looking for another plan!
Well, the Southbank Boulevard Play Space is definitely for adventurous oriented children and for parents who are looking to introduce some “risky play” to their kids.

Let me introduce the Grand Canyon meets Melbourne’s CBD with the boulder park, or officially named ‘Rock’s on Wheels’.
The boulder park is a new quirky playground in Southbank and the mention of wheels has merit, but I don’t want to spoil all the intrigue.

Mums Little Explorers loved this original playground which offers something new and exciting to amuse, and more importantly challenge the kids physically and mentally.

The playground was designed by artist Mike Hewson with it named ‘Rocks on Wheels’.
Suitable for little rock climbers and those looking for a change of space, it offers several slides, swings, monkey bars, sandpit and climbing ropes set over soft ground floor matting coloured and designed to look like concrete.

There is ample seating around the playground a drinking fountain and part fence, however limited shade.
This playground may not be for everyone but is refreshing to offer something different as well as provide more options for kids within the city.
