Parents need a good pub sometimes, right? One where the kids feel at home too. Stomping Ground Collingwood is just the place.

A giant converted warehouse has been turned into a family friendly beer hall that’s been named Best Brewpub in Australia since 2017 by Brew & Brewer Magazine.

Inspired by the beerhalls of Europe, Stomping Ground has loads of space with room to socialise. You can have meals or drinks at the bar.

There is a big cubby house for the kids too making it a great family friendly restaurant. The cubby blends right into the industrial yet covered in greenery décor. Perfect for when you want to relax after your meal and let the kids go play.

Stomping Ground has loads of specials throughout the week. Kids eat free lunch 12-3pm Monday-Thursday, $2 Oysters on Fridays and $25 Sunday Roast (my husband’s favourite).

This place is not only family friendly but very dog friendly! My pup loved getting her own water bowl from our server and sneaky treats passed under the table from the kids.

There’s plenty to move around with prams and ramps making everything super accessible. There are also change tables in the family/ambulant restroom.
