The Busy Peacock, and Hungry Peacock, Tyabb – Messy Play & Café
You can tell that The Busy Peacock has been designed by a mother. It is a haven for busy-body toddlers and their parents. You can book a session in the shed for some messy play, enjoy a coffee outside in the outdoor play area, or sit inside with a meal while the kids get lost in the playroom. It caters for any weather, age, and ability!
The Busy Peacock
The shed is equipped with all the gooey, messy, sticky and wet activities that you do not want to do at home. There are some great sensory stations to get their hands into, as well as opportunities for some creating and exploring.
The staff will provide the kids with a smock to protect them as best as possible from the mess, and a towel for the cleanup – but bring a change of clothes.
The 45 minute sessions allow the kids to roam freely and go about the stations at their own pace. With minimal rules and restrictions – or once, parents can stand back and enjoy the mess without the worry of cleaning up.
The Hungry Peacock
Once your play session is over, head next door to The Hungry Peacock for some fuel, more fun. The fully fenced outdoor space provides picnic benches and seats for parents, and a construction themed play area for the kids.
There is a sandpit with a digger, foam construction blocks, a cubby and lots of toys for the kids to enjoy.
Inside you will find the The Hungry Peacock café, stocked with snacks, meals and of course, coffee!
The DIY cookie is a great option for the kids, otherwise the cute cupcakes are sure to catch their eye.
Just past the café is an indoor play space – filled with books and lots more toys! Its sure to be a morning of endless fun with something for everyone.

After seeing what an amazing place The Busy Peacock is – we were thrilled to learn that they have converted the old church onsite into an event space. This beautiful rustic venue is the perfect place for a party – they have even hosted weddings! There are lots of options, packages, and flexibility available to suite your requirement and budget.
Your kids will love The Busy Peacock, no matter what type of play they enjoy. Its a great opportunity for sensory play, without the hassle for the parents. The Hungry Peacock offers amazing coffees and great food – along with more fun for the kids. A great combination for a fun-filled, energy-burning morning out with your toddler.
