The Rainbow Tree Performance Melbourne
Ever heard of a Rainbow Tree? Well, a rainbow unicorn farts, a disco koala, and a wilderbeast are just some of the amazing creatures that live under the Rainbow Tree.

Go along on a magical adventure, as two queer super Aunties, Aunty Bear and ZaZa explore what a rainbow tree is.
During this high-paced, wonderful 60-minute show, you will see a combination of rap, singing, dancing, acting and hilarious jokes.

There’s no denying there is oodles of talent, hours of practice and a barrel of laughs with the Rainbow Tree presented by Fat Fruit and Performing Lines.
This live show shares personal and imagined stories around the idea of family, identity and community with the help of some children who are part of Rainbow families.

The Rainbow Tree is suitable for kids aged 4-8, and their adults, but can also be enjoyed by younger folk.
My almost-three-year-old thought the sparkle farts were simply hilarious and nearly wet herself laughing.
The animations, songs, lighting, and musical effects are not the only way this production keeps kids entertained. The set-up of the room was also very inviting for kids- at the front of the stage were rugs, cushions, soft toys and fidget toys to keep all the senses involved throughout the show.
Making kids feel included in the show appeared to be a top priority for this production company.

Upon arriving at GPAC, kids were given a coloured paper leaf to decorate with pencils. They were asked to design the leaf so that it represented their family.

Once finishing their masterpieces, kids were able to peg them on to the Rainbow Tree.
