Tirhatuan Park, Dandenong North
Located at the end of Kriegel Way, the kids will just love this playspace.
There are various playground spaces. A favourite is the pirate themed playground, which is fun pretend play space to encourage the kids imagination. There is 2 slides on the pirate playspace, as well as a wobbly bridge.

The other playground area has the small rock climbing wall, the monkey bars and flying fox. The slides are bigger on this slide, with the double slide on this area. The kids can also play games underneath the playground, with a little wooden window, perfect for playing cafes.
There are two areas where there are swings, one area having a swing for people that need additional support.

A highlight for my daughter was the sand pit area, using the handheld digger, great for co-ordination.
The rope play area is great for older kids. Little ones seem to struggle with it, so not really suitable for toddlers.
The park has some really beautiful trees surrounding it as well as being a great park for everyone to enjoy.
With the leaves on the ground from the trees, the kids had almost as much fun playing with the leaves, than the actual playground itself.

There is a dog park directly opposite (all fenced in) that the kids love watching the dogs running around.
The Dandenong Creek, with walkways and wetlands are also nearby if you feel like stretching your legs and get some fresh air. At the waterways we have seen ducks, and on occasion Pelicans.
The toilets are not far away, just a walk to the other end of the car park so really convenient
