Trentham Falls, Victoria
Trentham Falls is the highest single drop of any waterfall in Central Victoria. Located approximately 20-minutes’ drive from Hanging Rock/Daylesford it makes a great place to stopover and enjoy the views.

Trentham Falls
Trentham Falls plunges more than 32 metres down the cliff, with the viewing area suitable for photographs and to show the kids a huge waterfall.
Plenty of parking with the viewing platform of the falls a short 70 metre stroll from the carpark.

Due to safety and recent erosion access to the bottom of the waterfall is permanently closed, therefore there is no swimming or access to the falls themselves. The falls also lack facilities such as public toilets and picnic areas.
There also isn’t too much to there so it is best to visit when heading to another attraction nearby, such as Hanging Rock.

Tips for families
- Short 70m walk from the carpark to the viewing platform.
- No toilets on site.
- A couple of park benches are available, however there were not enough for the crowd on our visit.
- No café or food available to purchase.
- Parking is free.
- Falls are larger in Winter and Spring than over Summer.
- Dogs welcome but on leash only.
- Make sure to visit Hanging Rock nearby.
