Calling all unicorn lovers!!! Ballarat’s iconic medieval-themed castle really is a fairytale wish come true with real-life unicorns to meet and a magical array of live performances and activities to enjoy.
Prepare to be whisked away on a rainbow-hued adventure where little ones can pat these magical creatures and even hitch a ride! Mum’s Little Explorers have attended the past few years and it has been absolutely magical. The little girls and boys had the best day ever.
As well as real-life unicorns, little ones can also meet the castle’s charming unicorn mascot Marshmallow for some fun photo opportunities.
With visitors encouraged to join in on the fantasy fun by dressing up, there will be prizes for the best costumes, and face painting and free unicorn hair sparkles will be available for an extra magical makeover.
Across the festival, there will be a range of fantastic live performances sure to immerse visitors in the magical kingdom.
Enjoy Unicorn Jousting and Unicorn Skill at Arms in the main arena as the castle’s resident knights deliver captivating performances sure to have all on the edge of their seats. Visitors should also be sure to check out the live puppet show at The Jester’s Theatre for a hilarious unicorn ‘tail’.
With unicorn-themed arts and crafts, show bags of magical goodies to treasure at home, and enchanting food and drink, the festival is set to be a delightful day out!
