W.J Irwin Reserve Playground Altona North
Situated by some very tall and shady trees in a great pocked of Altona North in the inner western suburbs of Melbourne, W.J. Irwin reserve has some great activities for toddlers and children of all ages.

The park sits upon a big, open grassy area, with concreted paths through the park, and around the perimeter; perfect for bike riding or scooting around.

It has a great assortment of bench seating, log seats and two park benches, under a wooden sheltered area in the centre of the playground.
One of the most loved additions to this playground, especially for the older children, is the flying fox! Swing from the platform to the opposite side in seconds and then drag it back again for another go.
