Looking to celebrate Oktoberfest, in authentic German style right here in Melbourne? Inspired by the traditional Bavarian festival in Germany, Oktoberfest in the West is happening again!
Featuring a fabulously decorated huge beer hall with plenty of seating, guests of all ages can enjoy this traditional Bavarian festival in the seaside town of Williamstown.
This beer festival is expected to attract up to 3,000 guests, listening to traditional and modern music, and enjoying a range of beer. For those who need a break from the beer, the Pirates Tavern is being transformed into Champagne Bar which will also feature the new Two Birds Cider on tap and other options.
Outside, the whole family can enjoy the authentic German food, rides, and market stalls.
This year Westbourne Grammar School’s amazing 18 piece band will be opening the festival with some traditional German songs and a few funky classics. This a great chance for those talented kids to play in front of a big local audience.
The event will finish with a bang with the incredible Chocolate Starfish performing their INXS KICK Show. This show has been performed to sold out audiences right across the country and will be a huge attraction for the West.
October 5th, from 2pm – 9pm
Pre-sale tickets: $35 and include a souvenir stein.
Kids under 12 Free, Kids 12 – 17: $10.
The venue is well served with transport options with the Williamstown train station only 5 mins away.
