Urth Clay Studio believe in the relaxing process of making pottery, and use clay to destress and take care of our well-being and mental health. It is such a great mindfulness activity!
You don’t need any artistic skills to join in, it is all about the therapeutic process. Perfection is in the imperfection although people often walk out so proud of what they made.
There are different sessions depending on what you are looking for. From social clay sessions, to ongoing pottery programs and even clay parties too.
Urth Clay Studio Sessions
This 2 and half-hour social clay session is full of fun, laughter, and positivity. You are encouraged to fully embrace the process and allow it to heal your mind and soul.
They walk you through the process to create simple yet creative steps to create your own ceramic piece. They process your work for you after the workshop to make it food-safe and waterproof.
No experience is needed, and it is perfect for friend, family or just a gals day out. Great for ages 8 years old and up.

Mindful clay programs: 8 and 4 weeks of pottery sessions
The Urth Mindful Clay Program is the ultimate mindfulness therapy for all that life may throw at you. Perfection is not sought and there is no right or wrong. It is all about enjoyment and personal growth.
Nothing beats the sense of pride and achievement that you will feel from creating your unique hand-crafted pieces! Many different pottery techniques such as hand building, slab rolling, coiling, and wheel throwing are explained to enable you to explore what gives you the most satisfaction, enjoyment, and sense of empowerment.

Private Pottery parties
These pottery parties at Urth Clay Studio are perfect for birthdays, Hens party, graduation party or just to create long-lasting memories with your friends and loved ones.
They are full of fun, laughter, and positivity and you are encouraged to fully embrace the process of making your own ceramic pieces and allow it to heal your mind and soul.
There is no judgment, no pressure, they will walk you through simple yet creative steps to create, decorate, and colour them. They will then process your pottery pieces after the workshop, to collect 10 days later.
Each session is either specialised in hand-building techniques or wheel throwing. each participant will work on his own wheel.
your can bring your own drinks and nibbles or we can cater for your party with a stunning grazing plate. Perfect for ages 7 to 99.
