You can book session time at the ballpark when they purchase their tickets to ensure efficient entry.

The Water Battle Zone is a great place to be on a warm day to beat the heat at the Australian Open.

Melbourne’s brand new lobster bar, Pinchy’s will be down at the AO Ballpark providing gourmet lobster rolls, and fish and chips for kids. And Boost will be at the AO Hilltop (upper terrace) serving up Blue Ace smoothies.
The family-friendly activities are not limited to the AO Ballkpark. They begin at Fed Square with tennis on the big screens, then continue via the Art Play outdoor playground, and extend through to the Practice Village at the eastern end of the precinct, where fans can get closer to the players than ever before.
Kids Tennis Day

Kids Tennis Day presented by Emirates is returning to the Australian Open this summer on 13th January 2024
After two years Melbourne Park will once again be transformed into a colourful wonderland of activities and entertainment for families.
In the morning there will be an Arena Spectacular on Rod Laver Arena where kids and adults alike will be wowed by awe-inspiring performance of acrobatics, dance, and an array of awesome circus talent.
The centerpiece of this spectacular will see fans’ favourite tennis players showing off their skills and tricks with some help from the hilarious show cast.
Australian Open Kids Club
AO Kids Club, the first-ever childcare program offered at a Grand Slam, is also back. This year in a new and easily accessible location at Deakin Edge at Fed Square.
Kids can watch tennis throughout the precinct with ground pass access to all outdoor courts and Melbourne Arena; or they can grab a racquet themselves and have a hit at the ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Fan Zone and mini-courts, as well as meet the world’s best players of the show at Autograph Island.
