There is a new recreation reserve coming to Melbourne’s North in Mickleham.
The space has been well designed for a wide variety of users – including our fury, four-legged friends who will soon have a huge 5,000 meter squared off-leash dog park!
There will be a sports reserve which will also include 2 AFL/cricket ovals, 6 tennis courts, cricket nets, and a fitness node.
On top of all these great features, there will also be an awesome new playground, skate zone and bike/scooter areas.
The playground will include various rope and nature play areas, as well as a basketball/netball hoop.
The Merrifield recreation reserve is sure to be the sports center of the North and has been created to provide something for everyone.
Whether your kids are little sports stars in the making, or you are looking for a spot to kick around a ball before a picnic lunch, this reserve is one to keep an eye out for.
