The Big Goose Adventure Farm, Mornington Peninsula
If your kids love animals and outdoor fun, The Big Goose on the Mornington Peninsula is one of the best family farms in Victoria. With animal encounters, tractor rides, playgrounds, mini golf, and even a splash park in summer, it’s the ultimate mix of farmyard adventure and all-day entertainment for families.

The Big Goose Farm
Located in Moorooduc, on the Mornington Peninsula, The Big Goose is more than just a petting zoo, it’s a full day out with something for every age. We have had the best days out here with the family!
You can get up close with a wide range of animals, from friendly farm favourites like goats, sheep, and ponies, to exotic animals including camels, alpacas, and peacocks.

Kids can even feed the animals, cuddle a bunny, or collect eggs from the chicken coop. The animal encounters and feeding sessions are always popular with kids.
The tractor ride is also a family favourite. Hop on and ride around the property spotting larger animals along the way. It’s a fun way to see more of the farm.

Outdoor Fun
The Big Goose isn’t just about the animals, there are lots of fun kids activities too. There is a large maze where kids can explore, run, and try to find their way out. It’s a simple but exciting activity that never gets old.
Young adventurers will love the sandpit digger area, where they can scoop, dig, and create. And the puzzle area where they can challenge their brains.

There’s a big outdoor adventure playground with slides, swings, and climbing structures, plus a giant jumping pillow perfect for burning off energy.

Mini Golf is another favourite and a great option for older kids and parents to enjoy together. In summer, the splash park is a highlight. Kids can cool off under sprays and fountains, making it a perfect addition for hot days.
