Landing Playcentre, Ravenhall
Landing Playcentre in Ravenhall is a space themed playcentre in Melbourne’s west for little ones and it has one of the biggest ball pits we have ever seen! More than just a playground, it’s a modern, space themed indoor centre designed especially for young kids to climb, slide, explore, and imagine.

Landing Playcentre is bright, modern, and designed with both kids and parents in mind. Opening in 2025 after the success of their first venue in Bundoora, Landing Playcentre Ravenhill is just as good as their Bundoora venue, if not better!
There is a huge multi level play structure, various themed role play rooms, a giant ball pit, lots of different slides, and even a pamper party spa. The kids have an absolute ball here!
When you arrive you do need to take your shoes off, so make sure to bring thick socks. Ours were still white when we left so don’t worry, the place is well kept and clean.
Here’s a few highlights:
Multi-Level Play Structure
The centrepiece of Landing Playcentre is its giant multi-level playground, designed for different age groups. We visited with kids from 12mths-4 years old and there was something for each of them.
Babies and toddlers have their own soft play areas with a rocket ship cubby and safe climbing zones.
Older kids can climb through tunnels, cross nets, and whiz down the mega slide into the enormous ball pit, one of the biggest we’ve seen! With plenty of slides, climbing obstacles, and soft play challenges, kids can happily spend hours exploring.
Role Play Imaginative Play Zones
Another highlight of Landing Playcentre Ravenhill is the role play village, where kids can step into their imaginations.
There is a mini supermarket and BBQ set up, the kids loved this area pretending to shop and cook. There is also an animal rescue shelter area too.
Another favourite was the dress up station where the kids got to try on different costumes in the dedicated dressing room. There is even a pretend beauty salon where the kids were playing pretend with the dolls doing hair and make up it was so cute!
Themed Party Rooms
If you are planning a birthday, Landing Playcentre has three themed party rooms, Space, Jungle, and Fairy, plus a Deluxe Spa Pamper Party room complete with robes, manicures, pedicures, and themed snacks.
Party packages are available with food, decorations, invitations, and a party host to make the day extra special (and stress free for parents!).
On Site Café
The café is great, you can find freshly made meals, snacks, and barista coffee. There are kids’ favourites like nuggets or mini hotdogs alongside adult options such as wraps burgers, salads, and fish and chips. And the themed plates are so cute!
There is a large area for seating with lots of tables and chairs so you can enjoy a meal or drink while still keeping an eye on the play areas.
Tips for Visiting
- Bring socks: No shoes allowed in the centre, both kids and adults need socks to enter the play areas.
- No outside food or drinks are allowed (except for kids with allergies, we were allowed to bring a small lunchbox inside for one of the kids who is ceoliac.
- Great for ages 0-10: Separate areas for babies, toddlers, and older kids.
- Book ahead for parties, as the themed rooms and pamper party packages are very popular.
