The AmazingCo Mystery Picnics are a fun day out where you are given a series of clues to solve that lead you to a range of different places around the area. Each location you pick up some picnic goodies and the final location of the day is a beautiful and spot where you can relax, enjoy your picnic and soak up the surroundings.

The AmazingCo Mystery Picnic Yarra Valley Experience
Before you head out on your adventure, AmazingCo emails you lots of details about what to expect and what to bring along for the day. They also give you the clues that you will need to solve to find the spots you will visit.

Definitely bring along a piece of paper and a pen! I almost forgot but stuffed some in my purse as we walked out the door. This helped the kids solve the clues.
The game of finding the locations made it an extra fun road trip. The kids really enjoyed the riddles (which is good because I’m not great at them) and the extra car games that were included.

In theory, the idea is to collect all of the food then take everything to the final location for one big picnic but I must confess, we may have dug into the treats from the first location when we got to the second location.

I don’t want to give away too much but it was a lovely spot to stop and everything looked so good we “may” have started sampling along the way. I have no regrets!!
We could walk from stop two to stop four so we enjoyed looking around the area while we collected more goodies.

Stop five was very popular and very busy so we had a little bit of a wait picking up our bits and pieces here but luckily there was a gorgeous view and plenty of space for the kids to run around while we waited.

We were super lucky at our last spot, there happened to be a free Big Band event happening so we not only had a beautiful picnic spot but lovely live music that the kids thoroughly enjoyed.
Even without the music, there’s a lovely creek and great playground so it’s a perfect spot for a picnic.

We had loads of treats from cheese and quiches to cakes and cookies to choose from and even a few leftovers to bring home (make sure to bring a cooler bag). Definitely a great deal for the cost. Everyone was really helpful with dietary restrictions as well.

The whole family is looking forward to trying out another AmazingCo Mystery Picnic very soon!
